Trailblazer is a focused 8-week mentoring program designed to help new engineers develop the real-world skills they didn’t learn in school.

Grow your intuition.

We designed the Trailblazer program to help aspiring engineers near the beginning for their career, who are looking for personal development to help the bridge the gap between their education and the real-world of engineering.  We provide practical engineering skill development and mentoring through a structured class environment with interactive examples combined with personal one-on-one mentoring.

Our approach provides training and intuition that you can often only get through years of direct project experience. Some engineers have the opportunity for similar accelerated development when paired with the right lead or mentor early in their career. Our program can meet this need when that pairing doesn’t exist or project schedule pressures prevent the proper interaction.

With decades of development program experience and a unique approach to teaching that is immersive and contextual, we can increase your engineering productivity in both content and quality by driving to better, faster decisions. We focus on improving the fundamental understanding of the problems you face as an engineer, starting with a strong foundation in first-principles knowledge. Our universal developmental approach has helped many engineers quickly get to the next level of productivity. The program can also be tailored to the specific needs of your team or  organization.

Testimonials

“This course was very relevant! In my experience, professional development offered by companies tends to be either focused on gaining very specific technical skills (like learning a new software) or general "soft" skills (like technical communication, and project management). This course hit the sweet spot by being technical, but also not overly specific to certain skills.”

“This course exceeded my expectations. ”

“I found the course extremely valuable. I appreciated the development of broad themes in technical thinking. It tied skills together in a way that I had not seen been made explicit before. “

“Thanks for an incredible class! I learned so much from my time in Trailblazers, and admire the organization, openness and expertise. This would be a huge value add to any organization with new engineers!”
